Location

History
The park opened in 1870 as a summer resort, originally consisting only of a dock area where visitors could rent rowboats. Over the decades it has grown significantly, adding attractions, hotels, and expanding its famous coaster collection. In 2006, Cedar Fair (the owner) announced plans to rebuild all the rides.
